If you have not heard of us before, Arts@MSP is a partnership between the Airport Foundation MSP and the Metropolitan Airports Commission. The program includes visual arts, performing arts, and exhibits that showcase the cultural and natural heritage of the Upper Midwest. We will use this newsletter to share updates about arts and culture programming at MSP, and to announce upcoming commissioned art projects and other opportunities to get involved with our program.

Impact lives like only a Teacher can do...
Teach at the Hallberg Center for the Arts
Interested in teaching painting, drawing, music, acting, or some other artistic medium? Here's where you submit your request.
The Hallberg Center for the Arts has two classrooms to host instructors who have a class they'd like to teach. The Hallberg Center for the Arts takes course instruction very seriously, ensuring that classes being offered are well planned, with defined objectives, and being offered by qualified artists. Potential instructors are required to submit to criminal background checks, through the same company that performs background checks for teachers in Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, and Stillwater.

We are excited to announce we are now accepting applications for our ever-popular Songwriters in the Round series on the Hallberg Center of the Arts Main Stage for 2023-2024! This 90-minute show is held on the last Thursday of every month, and features songwriters taking turns ‘in the round’, performing their original songs and sharing stories about each piece.

Forest Lake Washington County Library
We have an art rail system where we would hang art by a wire hooked to the back of the artwork. The artwork shouldn't be too large - no larger than 24" wide by 36" tall. The gross weight should be less than 25 pounds. We do have a small, glass display case the we can hold 3-D art, but this can be discussed as needed.
The artist must sign a bailment form before art can be displayed. I can provide this form when someone is ready to display their artwork.
