Wendy Hazzard

Wendy Hazzard volunteers as chair for the Metropolitan Minority Outreach Board and for the past 12 years, has served as a mentor to local high-school students. Wendy’s quest in life is to inspire and equip people to be the very best they can be.
Wendy considers her current work “The Power of One: The Service of Many” to be an inspirational book. As an anthology honoring volunteers and auxilians in health care, Wendy states “I feel honored to have a pivotal role in bringing to light the demonstrated caring and giving on behalf of these self-less individuals quietly working behind the scenes to make life easier and better for so many.”
An active member and newsletter editor for the Fairview Lakes Auxiliary, Wyoming, Minnesota, Wendy alsoserves on the Board of the Health Care Auxiliary of Minnesota (HCAM), where she is responsible for the organizational by-laws and leadership manual. As a consultant Wendy also assists HCAM in the marketing of their Leadership Development Modules.
Wendy is the mother of four grown children and has three joy-inspiring grandsons. She lives in Wyoming, Minnesota on the beautiful Carlos Avery nature preserve. She can be reached at wen.ven@gmail.com.
