I have worked and lived in the Forest Lake area for the past 30 years.  I grew up in the Minneapolis Uptown area with its wonderful architecture, shops and lakes.  Each year on the first weekend of August Uptown's streets were full of colorful people and the treasures they had created.  Art and the outdoors have always been a large part of my life, inspiring me to create.  This fall Hallberg Center for the Arts is giving me the opportunity to share my creative side with others.  The Director at the center told me to have fun with it and I have.  A lot of my work is created from repurposing used and found items with paper, glue and scissors in hand.  I think art is flowing, colorful and comes from a part of your soul you share.
