After a career as a psychotherapist, I began a new career combining my love of nature with painting and with beautiful fabrics. As a young child I loved stories about silkworms and how their cocoons were spun into silk. I spent hours contemplating how this might occur. I was fortunate to be able to go to China to see this amazing transformation from cocoon into fabric. After becoming a botanical watercolor artist, I gravitated to working on silk. Painting on silk brings out the colors that are amazing, vibrant, and enchanting.
