Answering "OTHER" in the previous question: Pre-Covid, I played at a couple of your Songwriters in the Round events, as well as at the summer art festival / fundraiser. Andrew Spreck suggested I contact you folks about my interest in being part of either or both, as such events become safe and viable again.
I'm a singer-songwriter from the Twin Cities area and a member of the band Wilkinson James. I've released two CD's with the band and (just as Covid hit) a solo CD, "Town Boy." Folks tell me my songs remind them of John Prine, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark--you get the picture! I use a little bit of storytelling about the tunes to try to establish intimacy with the audience, and from what I can tell listeners enjoy my songs and performances, especially in intimate listening spaces like yours.
I don't have any "live" performance clips in decent fidelity, but the link below will take you to clips of some "lockdown" virtual performances I streamed during Covid. I hope you like what you hear!
