I am a drawer and painter inspired by the world as it presents itself in front of me. Working both figuratively and from the natural world, making art is my way of processing my experience as a human being. It is my hope that the art I make connects with others as we all make our way on this little blue ball spinning in space. We must see and feel our collective humanity, be kind, care for each other, and care for this amazingly beautiful planet we call home.

Working out of my home studio in rural Minnesota, I use a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, gouache, drawing media and collage, sometimes combining all of them as a piece evolves.
