I get my inspiration to paint acrylic wildlife every day from my own back yard and neighborhood.  So many birds and animals stay in the Chisago area all year round and we look forward to spring when all the waterfowl return.  Each season brings a new series of activities and colors.  We really enjoy watching the birds and waterfowl return to old nests, build new ones or hunt around the trees to find new ones. We fill our bird feeders to attract the birds. It's so fun to see all the baby waterfowl swimming around, learning to dive for food and when tired take a ride on a parent's back. What a sight to watch an eagle or osprey soar around then dive for food.
