Brenda Susan Clark, Mixed Media,

Creating intuitively via mixed mediums.  Drawing upon internal memories of my Ojibwe Grama’s home and external images of Flora and Fauna from Forest Bathing before Forest Bathing was a ‘thing’.  My Grama was my world, my rock, and, my heart-strings flow onto the canvas when I recall her fondly, from the food on her table to my secret haven in her massive lilac bushes.  Growing up in a 15-acre forest provided daily flora and fauna inspiration, from a black bear walking down our country dirt road, to curling up in a parka and snowpants under a snow laden pine branch.  These experiences are the foundation from which my work flows.
