My paintings are usually explorations of things that seem impossible for me to paint, so are quite different from each other. I choose my subjects intuitively, by what pops out at me. It has usually been said that they feel serene, "Its feeds my soul." I suppose that's because I tend to see and paint what's been called "the thin places" where the spiritual and physical seem closest, where we can most clearly feel the presence of Spirit. Many times my paintings are metaphors that remind the viewer of something beyond the artwork. Often that means landscapes, but sometimes portraits and abstractions.

My background is BA in art education, an art teacher in Kenya, a graphic designer, and technical director for a theater in Orlando, FL.

My paintings have been exhibited in many galleries and private collections, too numerous to list here.
