I aspire to be an environmental advocate through my art. I use photography to explore new places or revisit familiar ones. This is the beginning of a painted piece. Various individual wood pieces are assembled to represent the diverse aspects of nature. Stains are then applied using my mental image of the photo to create the visual. Hopefully, viewers will see the image I've recreated and find it pleasing, calming, and even transporting.
