As a teen I wanted to be an artist. After graduation I ended up working in shelters in Tampa counseling children and families; helping them to start over. Then I had a car accident that gave me an opportunity to start over. I returned to MN in 2020 after 30 years in FL. In 2023 I had a stable, relaxing place to live and I started learning to paint. In Tampa I was “Mom” to a flock of parrots so I began with painting them for 100 days straight! 

I miss my 5:00 somewhere kind of life but I believe art can help heal a broken heart by focusing on beauty, peace, and humor wherever I am. I love Minnesota’s water & woods, as well as the FL beaches & parks. I want to share them with everyone!
