Avery Danger Hunter

I am a neurospicy artist, living with my wife and two children. I have an Associates in Fine Arts and continued on to earn my Bachelors in Studio Arts. I have exhibited work in galleries throughout the Midwest. I work as a teaching artist throughout the Twin Cities, engaging the disability community in creative practice. Through my work, I look to expose vulnerability and to explore the depths within me and others alike. The portraits are an example of celebrating my body as it is and being proud of the steps I have taken through life to get to this point. My outward appearance is not all that exists, for my identity is wrapped up in my mind, exuding darkness, yet light and color are also present in my abstracts, representing hope and healing of life to come.
