Statement I look at the world through my own "creative lenses", finding art in almost everything around me. The images are so vast, and imaginative, that I find it difficult to pick a favorite. As it is with my own work. I don't have a chosen style or medium. I see this as a huge positive as I'm free to explore and express my art in whatever is in my heart and hand at that moment. Come and explore it with me!
Recently, I am working on a mid-century modern theme, re-exploring my college design experience and playing with shape, and how it interacts with itself and within others. I am re-examining my love for bright color, simplified compositions and the freedom this uncomplicated art gives me. I feel that the world needs a moment of calm simplification, and a rest from the unbelievable and chaos.

I have been involved with Hot Glass since 1971 and enjoyed every minute of it. I am in the process of building a Hot Shop at home. It only took 40 years but it is happening. I don't have any lofty ideals about Art, just that it is a form of communication to share ideas and feelings. My grandson once saw a Picasso painting and said "she looks sad". He was 6 yrs. old and he got it.
