I am a lifelong resident of Minnesota and find no better place to be an artist. Drawn to the diverse landscapes and seasons that are so prevalent in Minnesota and surrounding states, I find it to be endlessly inspiring. I have worked in several mediums before comfortably settling down into pastels. I find pastels lend themselves so well to layering and expressive mark making which allows me to put my own unique fingerprint upon each painting that I do.
