The 7th installment of

Songwriters in the Round #7

Together on stage, for the first time ever, these three talented songwriters presented their original music to the public in the round.

Charlie OCharlieO is originally from South Milwaukee. He came to Minnesota and graduated from St Olaf College. He taught music in Forest Lake Schools for 5 years. Then, in 1981 he and his wife opened Music Connection in Forest Lake.

CharlieO has directed the Hosanna Choir for 35 years. He has been writing songs for over 40 years with piano and 12 string guitar and performs 50-75 times per year doing both originals and covers.

Graham BramblettGraham Bramblett was born and raised in Dallas, TX, schooled in Missouri and lived for 10 years in Nashville as a songwriter and everyman.  He moved to St. Paul in 2010 and performs locally and regionally accompanied by a few guitars. Six years ago, he felt writing was a chore and he threw himself out of Nashville and landed in St. Paul only to remember why he started playing music in the first place. “I began writing the kind of songs that I wanted to hear” and those songs turned into his cd release “Under the lights”

Katy VernonKaty Vernon was born and raised in London, UK, and found her voice after moving to MN in her 20's. She has been writing songs for as long as she can remember. She plays all over the state and this summer will be touring the UK for the first time. Katy combines folk, rock, and Americana sounds with her original songwriting and ever present ukulele. Katy has been featured on TPT’s Almanac, WCCO’s Women Who Rock, The Current, KFAI and The Fitzgerald Theater with Garrison Keillor.
