This is your opportunity to discover how you can help your organization realize it's potential.

Liz Sheahan presented this workshop, which is really an introduction to fundraising, via Zoom and organized by the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community to help the organization improve its sources of revenue.  We have opened this workshop up to not just our members but other area non-profits that are interested in improving fundraising within their organization.

Songwriters in the Round #27 at the Hallberg Center for the Arts.

Every two months we bring in songwriters from across Minnesota and Wisconsin to perform their original music in the intimate setting of the Hallberg Center for the Arts, an old turn of the century church that's been repurposed.

Featured Artist: Rekhet Si-Asar

Rekhet Si-Asar is a literary and visual artist, publisher, Minneapolis school psychologist and the Executive Director of In Black Ink (IBI) a statewide publishing arts initiative located in St. Paul, MN. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America, she grew up in New York where she completed a specialized degree program at the High School of Art and Design before pursuing her BA and Educational Specialist (Ed.S) in child/school psychology. Rekhet recognized early on the integral role education held in saving the world, and the ways in which Black students were often discriminated against - she reports feeling that she and her peers were considered second-class citizens in schools, regardless of their histories or talents.
