Solo and Duo Show Interviews

Exhibits for 2024 at the Hallberg Center for the Arts

This event is only available to artists that have submitted a Solo/Duo exhibit application in 2022-23.  As an artist that has shown interest in a solo or duo art exhibit at the Hallberg Center for the Arts, we are inviting you to come and and show us what you do (neccessary for consideration)!

Hit the green "Register" button above and pick your spot from the available times for your interview.  Dates will include Friday, March 24; Satuday, March 25; and Sunday March 26, 2023.  Interview spots are available on a first come, first serve basis, so the sooner you sign up, the more selection of times you will have available.

Please come 15 minutes prior to your interview to set up.  The interview will start at the time you select.

It's a casual interview that will last 20 minutes and will be in front of some members of our Board of Directors and our Events Committee.  Bring some samples of your artwork and tell us a little about yourself.  Tell us a little about your approach to art, and little about your history, exhibits that you've been a part of, and give the board a little idea about how you envision your exhibit.

We will be interviewing quite a few artists for 2024 and we will be looking for artists that will bring help us create powerful exhibits that will increase the awareness of the artistic talent in Minnesota.  If we decide to pair artists, we pair artists whose work will compliment and enhance the other artist's work.  We also have our smaller "Cube" gallery that we optionally make use of.  We have 5 time slots open for 2024, and each slot usually opens the second to the last Thursday of the month.
