The Songwriters in the Round Series is proudly sponsored by the Hallberg Family Foundation

Every month, the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community brings in 3 songwriters to perform at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in an "In The Round" format, performing their original pieces of music.

This month's show brings Mary Cutrufello, Sarah Morris, and Katy Vernon to the Freemore Stage.

Admission is Free.

Songwriters in the Round starts promptly at 7pm.  Seating is limited, so please arrive early!

Mary Cutrufello

St. Paul roots-rock singer-songwriter Mary Cutrufello has been a mainstay in the Americana scene here in Minnesota and Texas for over thirty years. She's performed on The Tonight Show and Austin City Limits, and toured in all 50 states and several European countries. Hailed by USA Today as "a fierce guitarist with with a blistered-throat voice," Cutrufello mixes original songs and classics of American music into a captivating, heartland-proud musical stew at once timeless and immediate.

Sarah Morris

Sarah Morris is a songwriter, lover, and mother, documenting the glorious details of our messy, magical, everyday lives. Possessing a keen eye and a captivating voice, she offers poignant and relatable songs with timeless country melodies. The Minneapolis-based artist has become a fast favorite on the folk and Americana scene, charting on both the AMA Radio Chart and the Euro Americana Chart. She won the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Contest and has been a finalist in both NewSong and MerleFest’s Chris Austin Songwriting Contest.

Katy Vernon

Katy Vernon is a London born singer songwriter who is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her resume highlights include being named the Winner of Best Acoustic Performer of 2020 By City Pages, the Eric Stokes songwriting award, and Kerrville Folk Best new song finalist award.  Her most recent record ‘Suit Of Hearts’ was named album of the year by Ukulele magazine as well as landing on several local best of lists. She was also a finalist in Ukulele magazine for Best International Ukulele player!
