PK Mayo
A native son of northern Minnesota, PK Mayo grew up by a lake near the mining town of Eveleth. From an early age, when he was known as Paul Kennedy Mayasich, he soaked up a wide range of diverse styles of music coming over the airwaves of the local college radio station, KUMD. He has spent the majority of his life since then following the muse of that sound while recording, writing, singing and playing while stepping on the stage 200+ shows a year. He's racked up a shelf of awards, including induction into both the Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame and the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame. His original song, Arms of the Blues, won a Minnesota Music Award for best blues recording.
Touring and playing around the country and world has honed PK Mayo's guitar skills to a razor's edge. His abilities playing slide guitar, both acoustic and electric, his rare touch, feel and dynamism on his varied stringed instruments combined with his accomplished original songwriting, and soulful vocals quickly shows PK Mayo is the complete package. His music is an aural quilt built of what is today called the Americana genre: country, rock & Roll, blues, and folk - all shaken and stirred into a satisfying musical brew.

Joe Cruz
Joe Cruz is regarded as one of the most versatile and energetic multi-stringed instrumentalists on the national music scene today. Throughout his 40 year career, this passionate musician has developed a vast array of styles, playing anything from solo acoustic guitar to screaming electric, swinging with a jazz combo, picking mandolin in a bluegrass band or exploring his Latin roots on Cuban trés and Puerto Rican cuatro. Cruz is also a composer and his solo guitar record, Pasión, can be found on iTunes. Having played in numerous productions at the Children's Theatre Company, The Guthrie, Park Square Theatre, and The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Joe is delighted to return to the Hallberg Center for the Arts music stage! https://joecruzmusic.com/
