Teréz Iacovino

Teréz Iacovino (she/her) is a visual artist and curator based in Minneapolis. Her interdisciplinary works spanning sculpture, printmaking, and installation have been exhibited nationally and internationally at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MN); Blue House Gallery and Studios (Dayton, OH); Kulturpark (Berlin, Germany); The Soap Factory (Minneapolis, MN); Future Tenant (Pittsburg, PA); Irvine Fine Arts Center, (Irvine, CA); Everson Museum of Art (Syracuse, NY). She is co-founder of the collaborative trio, Crescent Collective, whose work investigates the ways in which humans interact with plants, technology, and the environment. She has been awarded a Jerome Planning Grant from Forecast Public Art, a Joy of Giving Something Award from Imagining America, and an Institute on the Environment Mini Grant from the University of Minnesota.

Iacovino currently works as the Assistant Curator at the University of Minnesota's Katherine E. Nash Gallery in Minneapolis. Her dual perspective as an artist and curator guides her mission to cultivate empathy for, give voice to, and build platforms with artists. Over the years, Iacovino has worked with a myriad of local, national, and international artists and organizations including the Estate of Ana Mendieta and Galerie Lelong, the National Council of Education on the Ceramic Arts, the World of Matter Collective, and Women’s Studio Workshop.
