When we walk through the woods on a fall day it can be easy to forget all the energy transfers taking place.

What we can see is a range of wavelengths visible to the human eye. The light we see makes up less than one percent of one percent of the entire electromagnetic spectrum. In fact, humans are capable of seeing only 0.0035% of reality. 

What we perceive with our eyes isn’t all there is. We intrinsically know this when we talk about gut feelings and good vibes. Yet, it can be easy to forget when we hold a glass of water, that the glass isn’t actually solid. It’s an extremely slow moving liquid, holding a faster moving liquid.

Quantum physics shows us that even in a vacuum, even at a temperature of absolute zero, energy persists. Seemingly, out of no where.
