I believe in a higher power. This higher power is loving, non judgmental, and has existed forever. It
is an intimate part of our being. We have a need for higher consciousness and a connection that
makes our life work and existence purposeful. My work is an attempt to achieve oneness with my
higher power. Like meditation, my art becomes a direct transcendental, creative experience or artistic
interpretation of the ultimate reality. This is very close to mysticism - which is not in the intellect, but
a deep personal feeling that is beyond words. It is an advanced state of inner enlightenment. My
philosophy has now become my art. I am painting what I feel.
My painting tend to be spontaneous, intuitive; and I attempt to reveal an inner essence in my work. I’m
not interested in the mystery of my feelings or personality, but with the penetration of the great world
mystery. My work is about symbols, myths, dreams, and union. I try to use colors and forms that evoke
a spiritual quality or feeling. S-curves, cryptic images, and intuitive color are part of the language of
art that are important to me.
