This art exhibit brings together two spirited mid-career artists who excel at working in textural layers. They bring a fresh freedom from realism while maintaining the context of nature’s reality through their use of natural and upcycled materials.

Cindy Fuerstenberg is a fiber and mixed media artist who finds inspiration in the heart beat of the land. She uses organic processes to alter textiles and fiber to achieve her subject matter. Her goal is to share history, science, and endangered species concerns through her work.

Andrea Canter is a photographer and mixed media artist who finds inspiration in the interaction of surfaces and textures found in nature and seeks to reinterpret or reinvent reality. She uses photographic composites and an array of materials on canvas and wood panels to attain her personal, multi-layered compositions.
