The Hallberg Center for the Arts is open again , but to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and the community, we will be placing some requirements and limits on visitors and voluteers.  We will be open normal hours Thursday through SaturdayVolunteers and guests will be required to wear a mask (if you don't have one, we will provide on for you).  We are limiting the total volunteers and guests to a total of 15 people in the gallery at any given time.  Sanitizer will be available.  Social distancing is required.

The second annual In. Art Show opens August 24, 2017. 

In. Art Show - a juried and judge art competition

The In. Art Show & Competition awarded $3,800 in this 2nd annual uncatagorized art vs art competition.  Presented by the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community, the opening ceremony and award announcements was held at the Hallberg Center for the Arts, in Wyoming, MN on August 24,2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

119 artists submitted their best artwork for this show. Through the jurying process by our independent judges, the field was narrowed down to 72 finalists from Albert Lea, through the Twin Cities and up to Two Harbors.

On August 24, prior to the show opening, our judges will walked through the exhibit, critiquing and collaborating, then deciding which of these beautiful pieces of artwork will win.  Visitors at the opening ceremony voted for their favorite pieces as well.

With the judging and voting complete, the winning pieces of art are now proudly adourned with their ribbons.  Stop by the art center and see one of the most powerful art exhibits ever displayed in the region.

Extended Art Exhibit

Award winning and high scoring artwork may have the opportunity to be displayed at the Nesting Grounds, in Wyoming, MN as part of an extended art exhibit for the month follow the In. Art Show, with the consent of the artist.

Entry fee is waived for members in good standing with the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community.
